I want to paint curious cats crawling on a comfy carpet with bulging eyes as they eye squawking birds outside the pet shop.

I want to paint an old, withered tree with acorns dangling from its branches like mahogany baubles.

I want to paint a squirrel being as sly as a fox, stealing nuts from another squirrel before retreating to their home.

I want to paint a slimy snake slithering through their thick log house in the rainforest.

I want to paint a crimson-breasted robin frantically flying from fast foxes in the illuminated, night sky.

I want to paint a crowd of chanting children playing duck, duck goose in the faraway forest.

I want to paint a footballer practising his cool celebrations before high-fiving himself in a pasted poster.

• I want to paint a diamond orchid flower attached to a necklace around a young girl’s neck.
