In the land of…
In the land of…
In the land of Never- believe,
I found a beautiful silver seal,
Swimming in a forest of slippery seaweed on the seabed,
Gliding as graceful as a ballerina,
Twisting like a tornado.,
In the land of Flying colours,
I heard the ear- splitting squawk of a soaring rainbow,
As they glide through and endless canopy,
Their colourful feathers glinting like gold.
In the land of Never-ending blue,
I danced to the song of salty foam crashing to shore,
As fish snatchers leap and play,
And lurking nightmares roam the deep.
In the land of Doomsday beasts,
I captured a golden firebreather,
Claws rimmed with silver,
And scales coated with bronze.
In the land of Ever- believe,
I saw the memory of my beloved Pop and Jazz,
My much-loved milk-drinkers,
As they rough and tumble into the ever-lasting night.
