On The Way Home

On The Way Home

I met a girl called Winter,

Her deep crisp eyes freeze you on

The spot.

Her hair as soft as a falling snowflake.

I met a boy called Humbug,

Indigo lightning strike stars capturing

The moonlight in his eyes.

The glistening moon captivates his petrifying powers.

I met a girl called Peace,

She whispered to the cold breeze.

Her ocean green eyes glisten and shine

Through the glowing night sky.

I met a boy called Snow,

Falling icebergs smash like a volcano erupting.

His heart beat freezes with hope and joy.

Glittering snow glides down from the sky above.
