On my Way Home
On my way to Paris
I met an elf called River.
He had ears as pointy as a sharp pencil
and his hair covered his eyes like curtains .
With clothes as green as grass
he spoke elf language.
That no one could understand
Like he was making it up
I met a frog called Tree.
It had eyes of emeralds
and leaped like a cat hunting it’s next meal.
With a slimy body and a small creature
It plays in a pond and makes a great bond
I met a fairy called Autumn.
She had eyes that was grey like a rainy day
and tinsel hair that was white like snow.
Her wings fluttered in the sparkling moon.
That blinded my eyes with the glow.
But she was so sweet like candy
