I’ve never submerged myself into hot flaming lava

but I have traveled outside on a scorching summers day.

I’ve never climbed to the freezing peak of Mount Everest

but I have clambered up a gnarled snow covered tree.

I’ve never swam in the Antarctic ocean

but I  have rushed along the Filipino shore.

I’ve never danced in a competition

but I have swayed in front of my Filipino family.
