The Twilight Tree

The Twilight Tree strolls around in the

Pitch black dark all night long.

Sleeping peacefully in the light of day.

It’s roots are as long as a giraffe’s neck

Spreading across the soil.

The trunk of the tree is like a tall man

Wandering in the dusk of night.

The leaves are as dead as a flower

That had never been watered.

The twigs are as slim as a piece of torn card.

Frostbite flower

The Frostbite shivers like there is no warmth.

It would bloom the colour of the winter snow.

The stem is as long as a rusty street lamp.

It is as fragile as a fine china set.

The petals are as cold as a villain’s heart.

They are as worthy as solid gold.
