Red poppies glow like bright little lamps. Their roots are as thin as a piece of paper and would cut deep into your palm. The stem, greener than fresh grass and goes down almost like a zigzag! The leaves dangle lazily. The piercing ends of the petal and the pollen smelling like burning flesh overwhelmed people. Adults especially.
