The Tiger Mouse

Interested in peculiar animals colossal and puny? This intriguing species of mouse , which are gentle beasts, have grown in number. However, the noises that it makes are disturbingly high-pitched. Therefore, its is largely hunted when they are trying to attract their prey. In addition to this catastrophe, the mice have spread out when hunting. These animals are largely found in the northern hemisphere.

Appearance
Interestingly, the tiger mouse has holographic skin which has the stripes of a tiger printed across its body. The stripes are amber and midnight black. During the night, which is hunting time for these creatures, they are difficult to spot. Consequently, this makes hunting for the tiger mice very easy. Juveniles are around 10 cm long, whereas adults are around 15 cm. Their eyes are large and their feet have tiny claws that could draw blood from any creature. Therefore, they avoid humans at all costs. The claws scratch, tear apart and help the tiger mouse scurry around.

Habitat
Normally, tiger mice burrow in the crevices of damp caves so that they are not exposed to a lot of sunlight. Like camo bats, the mice use echolocation to communicate in the caves. Tiger mice are native to Brazil. Damaged caves are the best types of living space, as they provide many crevices. The tiger mice are content when living with the camo bats. Because the tiger mice habitats are near the equator, they are used to warmer conditions.

Diet
Tiger mice eat a range of insects and smaller animals. Iridescent Rainbow Beetles are a staple diet for these creatures. Using their claws, the mice will tear apart the beetles as they do not digest the impenetrable exoskeleton. They eat every 2-3 hours. Surprisingly, they can survive without drinking for 15 hours. As they have stomachs larger than any mouse, they can store water there until it is needed.

Tiger mice must be handled carefully as their holographic skin carries the most dangerous poisons. Tiger mouse related deaths are tragically increasing.
