The Dark Tree

The Dark Tree

The Dark Tree loomed like a depressed man.

The crown did a sinister smile.

As the leafs sobbed.

The trunk shivered alone where there used to be trees and he looked like a broken pillar.

The old roots looked down at what used to be and cruelly giggled a menacing laugh.

Isolated the Dark Tree was lonely.

The Happy Daisy

The Happy Daisy skipped and hopped.

The stem joyfully wiggled about like a wobbly jelly.

The roots jiggled about delighted while chatting.

The petals danced to mother nature’s beat and the Happy Daisy skipped, twirled, pirouetted, leaped and at last bowed slick dancer.

The Happy Daisy was lucky to have Friends.
