The ways of life
The ways of life
What is soft? Freshly laundered pillows on the bed and cotton wool gently washing my face.
What is hard? Grammar waiting for an answer and a friend leaving the country and never returning.
What is hot? An engine getting warmer ,as it’s owner goes for a drive, and a toasted s’more, gooey and light.
What is cold? An ice bath as you raise money for charity and your sibling, fading away as you speak to them.
What is poor? A toddler’s chalk drawing on his house wall and a rushed piece of maths homework, late anyway.
What is rich? A warm chocolate fountain with strawberries to dip and a game at Wembley Stadium with Saka.
What is wet? A turtle as it raises up to the sky for a breath and a duck’s wing as it searches for food.
What is dry? A tree’s bark as it uses the sun as it’s towel and a parched mouth, waiting for it’s drink.
