What is hot?
What is hot?
A burning sun on a boiling day,
a man jumping on the surface of Venus
and a firefly looking to burn.
What is cold?
the heart of a winter’s snowman
a frozen freezer standing still
and a drop of crystal ice on a chilly postman’s nose.
What is fast?
A cheetah chasing its prey,
a shark fighting for survival
and a flying tarantula zooming around the jungle.
What is slow?
A tortoise munching grass,
a slug squirting out slime
and a slow worm wriggling at 1 mph.
What is long?
An elephant’s trunk swishing from side to side,
a deer’s antlers pointing to the sky
and Mount Everest’s icy point poking through the clouds like an ice cream.
What is short?
A tortoise’s mouth slowly gulping,
a baby fish hatching from an egg
and a tiny crocodile snapping its jaws.
