Prologue 

Mythica stared out of his sister’s window watching a mysterious airship glide towards him. He heard flames as loud as a bonfire. The airship was crashing into buildings like a crazy person. He sensed that the  airship turned the other direction as quickly as a plane, he looked  at the side of the airship, there were words on it, it read ‘Look out, fear us – The Fearless Fighters’. Mythica shouted ‘‘Sister! Come here! Look what I’ve found!’’. Mythicas’ sister ignored him like he wasn’t there. Mythica sighed and said to himself ‘Why doesn’t she want to find out about this airship? It’s really cool!’’.

Chapter 1

Climbing over the exit of St Sapphires, someone stared at Mythica with confusion and walked up to him. ‘‘Hey! Who are you? I am Elizabeth Smith!’’.

Mythica hesitated and said ‘‘Hello, I am Mythica… I am escaping, want to help?’’. Elizabeth helped  Mythica by distracting the teacher while Mythica used a rope to get down from the exit. When Mythica had gotten out of the exit he passed the rope over the exit so Elizabeth could climb over. She eventually got to the other side. Mythica explained how he needed to find a necklace that would help him, Elizabeth understood and helped him.

Mythica and Elizabeth ran home, Elizabeth realised that there was a note on the floor with Mythica’s name on. Elizabeth picked up the note and handed it over to Mythica. The message read: Mythica! I, your great grandfather, wrote this note to you. I need to warn you! Don’t trust anyone! This sounds suspicious but you will be betrayed by your best friend… I do have some good news though! I know that you are looking for a necklace now because I can see into the future… I can’t tell you where it is but I can tell you that you will find it when you are in danger… Later when Mythica is home he stays up all night thinking about the note, what will happen? Will he be ok? 

Mythica had no sleep at all, his sister called him. Mythica was confused… His sister said ‘‘Mythica, I’ve found out you have a friend called Elizabeth… She needs help!’’. Mythica was confused, should he listen to the note? He decided not to and he went off on his journey to save Elizabeth. ‘‘What could possibly go wrong?’’ Mythica said to himself.  Mythica packed a few things with him just in case it was an emergency. He set off not knowing where to go, he then saw there was another note saying ‘Go this way to find Elizabeth!’ Mythica realised it’s quite a big risk but he continued to listen to the note. Mythica felt tired, ‘‘Should I give up?’’ He said to himself. Mythica had walked all this way and now he felt like he needed to give up, he decided not to and knew that he had to save Elizabeth. He walked another mile! Mythica had found Elizabeth on top of a tree! ‘‘Help Mythica! I can’t get down…’’ Elizabeth shouted. Mythica looked at what he’d packed in his backpack and found a rope! The perfect thing to save Elizabeth! Mythica couldn’t throw the rope to the top of the tree.. He knew he needed to be wound up, Mythica was running low on battery… No-one was nearby… Mythica shouted ‘Wind me up!’. He heard footsteps.. He felt fine all of a sudden! He’d been wounded up and now he could save Elizabeth! He managed to throw the rope up to Elizabeth and then she climbed down. ‘Mythica! I was never your friend!’ said Elizabeth. Mythica felt betrayed… Elizabeth chased after Mythica, Mythica knew he was going to get caught until he found a necklace on the floor, he picked it up and he teleported to an airship! Was this the one he saw before? Did he just get saved?
