Chapter 1 

The Escape

One Bramblemas Eve, a knock on the door boomed to the other side of the burrow. Silence. Another knock. This one seemed gentle. Suddenly, chatter flooded the burrow. All the rabbits were guessing who was at the door. Some rabbits presume it is a traveller, some believe it was a bard. One rabbit quoted,”It’s the Gorm!” Every-rabbit in the burrow overheard this one rabbit and a terrified look spread on their furry faces. Chief Lodkin boomed a welcome chant to greet this unexpected visitor. Creak. Clink. Clank. Clink. Clank. An echo of rusted metal rubbing against each other as the visitor entered the pitch black hallway.

The visitor called out,”I don’t want your welcome…” The blackened hallway revealed a dark figure in the Goddesses hated metal. His eyes were blacker than coal. The Gorm. Everyone screams and dashes upstairs…everyone but Lodkin. He yelled at his wife Amelia to save the children. She nodded. She put her youngest son Zook on her back and grabbed Zodkin and Zaz’s paws and brought them to their room. She moves Zaz’s desk out of the way and pulls a rusty key out of her pocket. Quickly, she opens a tunnel. A tunnel that looks like it leads to nothingness. She handed them a necklace which in the middle was a diamond that sparkled with light. Suddenly, the Gorm stomped up the stairs. They had to go.

Chapter 2 Where to go

She pushed them into the tunnel. Locked it up and moved Zaz’s desk back in place. After a couple of minutes a scream of pain filled the burrow, even the tunnel. Zook was sobbing, Zaz was hugging Zook and Zodkin’s mind was blank. He had no clue what to do. Should he go back? No. It was too dangerous. Without noticing, Zook wandered off. Zaz was fed up with arguing, turned around, and Zook was gone.They called out for Zook. No response. Did the Gorm get him? They carried on looking and split up in the maze of tunnels. Zaz took a couple of turns in different directions and found Zook. Now she had to find Zodkin. After walking for who knows how long, Zook and Zaz yawned. Maybe after a little nap they could find Zodkin.

Zodkin gave up looking and found that Zaz was not behind him. He panicked. Where could she have gone? Did the gorm take them? Only he could answer his question. Clink. Clank.
