End of chapter 1

He had been killed in the aircraft crash at a small village in Manchester. Suddenly, she heard a rustle from the tree nearest her. Seconds later, a familiar face poked out. “What are you doing here?” asked Miranda!

Chapter 2

The mechanical fox lept out of the tree and trotted towards her. The mech fox replied,

“I have come to share you news that knowone knows. It is secret!”

“What” asked Lily with a look of suspicion on her face.”

The mech fox breathed and then said “Come with me. It’s not safe here. Someone could overhear us.! The mechanical led Miranda away through the back lanes towards where her father used to live.
