Chapter 2

The forest

One early grim morning, Ren

woke up with a sign of boredom on his face. Unexpectedly, he murmured, “ Lets and out to adventure. go on an adventure!” Ren went outside and tiptoed out into his friend’s tents that lay on that very same campsite. “Wakey, wakey, time to adventure in… Wood Brook Forest!” Ren said with blissfulness. Layler screamed, Lily wet herself and Billy threw up! Astonishingly, Ren didn’t even mind and dragged them out of bed, got them dressed and ready to adventure.

That ugly looking morning, Ren wanted his friends to enjoy the fact they are away from the camp site for a while so he packed a tone of snacks to keep them busy. The only person who was happy were Billy, he was just chit chatting away about his new pair of pants. “ugh, will you just shut up for five minutes!” shrieked Layler. Billy didn’t shut up. Instead he started nattering about what he had for his breakfast yesterday. Lily calmly suggested, “5 minutes that’s all we ask from you Billy, all we ask,” Finally, he shut up.

After all that chitter chatter, they reached the place they destined for, Lonely Land. “Huhhhhhh!” the lot gasped. “Why, is there no flower here?” enquired Layler with confusion. They all searched for the screaming sunflower but it was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, there was a yelp, a scream! It apparently came from behind the Lonely Cottage. It appeared to be a baby goblin. “What’s your name, sweetie?” asked Lily. “ Yodo.” It murmured quietly. “Yodo, huh. CUTE!” SIGHED Layler politely. The goblin was just like a baby but instead all green and wearing a nappy/dipper. That night, they slept in the cottage with their new, childish friend. “Nighty night everyone,” sighed Ren. ”Good night,” said Lily and Billy. “Ba boo.” Muttered the baby goblin.
