Chapter 2

The grate Gandon manor stood still and silent and outside the bear leaf trees looked like cracks in the sky. with a gorges gravel path leading to the door. the roof is made of pine wood. John pulled out his keys and opened the door and inside the kitchen  it was damp with stove water.

 Immediately he ran to his bedroom and was thankful to see that all his stuff was as he left it. His favored magazines stuck to the wall and his fragments of past camping trips. His granddad’s pocket watch on his bedside table it was safe.

Curious Elise picked up the pocket watch. she pressed the button and was surprised by the fact that  she saw all of John’s memory’s. They agreed that they should hide it somewhere so no one can steal it and use it for bad or abuse it for their benefit.

So that must be what the fuss is all about John whispered staring at the watch.

‘Indeed,’ came an ice cold voice from the door spinning round John and Elise gasped . Instantly John recognized his granddad’s science partner professor kingfish. he took his hands out his pockets and smiled but it was not a good smile it lacked warmth. I’ve have been waiting for you to lead me to his invention I’ll take that if you don’t mind. stealing the watch from them.

A few moments later John and Elise where locked in the garage with a bared window too small to wriggle throw and the garage was locked shut with top quality locks that scoundrel he tricked my grandpa said John

Elise sat on an old dusty tool bench and said to John where never getting out of here wiping the dust off his fingers

John on other hand new that they would somehow manage to get out of the garage. determent not to let kingfish defeat him. We are going to escape and get that watch back and rescue my grandpa.

‘good luck with that’ Elise whispered so quietly that John could not here her. staring at the floor in sadness.
