Chapter three of “The Underground Of Doom” Alexander
Turning off course, Zoom, Jumpy and Jeffie followed the swishing grass. Suddenly, they stood up on each others shoulders and charged towards the three. “On the count of three run and hide ok?” Zoom whispered trying not to tilt his head too much. “ok.” the others replied. “one………two………three!”. Zoom carried the rabbits into the air and landed on an undestroyed building. Zoom was an expert in WW2 and said in caution, “They’re goliath rats and they’re trying to take us to the concentration camps and they’re trying to get the information out of us and…. ”It’s ok.” interrupted Jeffie.
Ten minutes later, they walked down falling over a trip rope that the goliath rats had set up while they were higher up in the building. Suddenly, ten big shadows appeared on the walls. “Well well, look who we’ve got here.” said the biggest goliath rat leaning on the walls of the building, feeling the vibration of the earth in the walls. The crow squawked. They were cornered! “You’re going nowhere!” snapped the third goliath rat from the right. You’re just going to the concentration camps. Nowhere else. As they were tied up with strong rope.
They had to do what the goliath rats wanted them to do. It was a sunny day and the sun was at it’s highest. It was warm and the meadow was quite peaceful. It was quite a difficult hike and they marched in discomfort. It was a thirty-minute walk which is quite a long walk as most of you know. Since the sun was bright and hot, the forest lit up and offered beautiful views. The sounds of the dry, leafy forest and its nature were just like the forest sounds we can hear today. However, as they were approaching the camps they could hear horrible cries in the distance and by the time they reached the tent it was pitch dark everywhere.
