JAMES AND THE GOLDEN WATCH

Chapter 2:

The hall of library of fun had floor boards missing and lights flickering.It remained silent.Outside,the trees leaned into the building like bent over metal and bricks began to break.Inside,the dust lay untouched as the cold air flow through the building.James finally found his old,rusty key and slowly put it into the key hole.The door squeak open like a mouse running across the floor.

James and John carefully but fastly ran upstairs Max was sniffing out the way and when they got to the old dusty cold bedroom.There was spiders hanging from the ceiling and mouses scattered across the room.Rapidly James looked in his cobord with a huge sigh of relief,the golden watch was safe.

Curiously,John opened the watch at the front.Inside there was the leased thing they would expected it was a recipe to a potion that would turn people evil.”If your dad invented this he must have thousands of enemies.”said John.James saw a potion making stand and they both rushed over and they made the potion as fast as they could.”This could put people out of business!”exclaimed John.

“So that’s why people asked were my parents have gone.”whispered James.

“Yes.”said a cold deep voice from the door quickly spinning round James gasped.Suddenly James recognised Professor Frank he inched the back of his dark brown hair.He did a evil smile a d said “I knew you would lead me to your fathers secrets.If you don’t mind I’ll be taking that grabbing the potion from James.

A few seconds later,James and John were locked in a old storage room,there was no fire and dust filled the room and the cold breeze spreaded ever were.The door was firmly locked and the window was to small to get through.That mooron he’s faked to be my dad’s friend.

“We’ll never get out of here we’re stuck.”whisper John passing round the old room.

“We’re not getting out smarted by that idiot!”

Good luck with that we’re going to rot in here befor we even think of a idea to get out!” said John.
