Once the Moriats had fallen in the trap, Salamace and his siblings trudged through the forest. A few minutes later a message was dropped by Bolt, the Bronze water warren’s pet. The message said “We have received your warning call so we sent Bolt to find you and deliver this note to say that we were already warned about the Moriats and our emergency defences are up, but we are inviting you to come and stay safe with us.”

As they were invited and were in the middle of nowhere, they gladly accepted the invite to their warren. Off they went down through the forest until they hit a clearing where they did a sharp left till they were stood in front of the large gates of Bronze water warren. Mrs. Lavish, the chief’s wife, let them in but they noticed she was looking a bit grey around the eyes.

Once they were in the warren Mrs. Lavish told them to help themselves to any food they wanted. Soon after, Rose spotted a clump of platinum in the corner, a material only the Moriats were able to acquire. So they bolted to the doorway just as Mrs. Lavish shouted “LOCKDOWN!!!! THE CHILDREN ARE ESCAPING!!”. One by one, they slid under the gate until it was Salamance’s  turn but his whole body got under apart from his ear, so they had to cut off his ear and patch it up with cobwebs in water, a vital piece of medical treatment for rabbits.
