London Manor was shrouded in noise as usual. Samantha gazed up at what she knew was her childhood home but she could not convince herself that it was. Outside, the bricks were covered in moss and ivy which also covered the birch framed windows. The dark oak door creaked as Samantha opened it.

Knowing where to go, Samantha rushed to where the family well stood in the middle of the garden. At least the garden was still the same. Staring into the garden, she wondered if she would come back here after all this was finished. She looked all around and finally found the heart locket in the bucket of the well.

Suspiciously, Samantha opened the locket. She frowned. Looking closely she saw there was a pause button inside it. She pressed the button and instantly recognised her dads voice. The moment she heard her dad say that he was dead she quickly shut the locket and struggled to put it round her neck.

“I wouldn’t open that again if I were you” came a smug tone of evil from the backdoor. Whisking around, Samantha and Dark Horn both recognised her dads old friend/worker professor smith. Waving sarcastically, he reached for Samantha” How about I help you with that” he said reaching for the locket and quickly switched it with another necklace. the lights went out.

waking up she noticed that the three of them were in a coal shed ,she noticed that from being surrounded by coal, moaning in the corner Harold was saying, ” We are never ever getting out of here, and I am stuck in a room with you and your dog breathed wolf” ” Hey! Don’t say that about Dark Horn she’s mum’s pet, and we will get out of here.
