Down Brandon memory lane
Down Brandon memory lane
On Monday, I find an abnormal leaf
All the edges were uneven, like a bumpy road of green
Little specks of yellow and brown dots.
On Tuesday, I walk into endless forests full of emerald green
The trees danced in the wind, a fantasy to watch them
Animals looking for food in the wilderness.
On Wednesday, I saw a frog at a lake
Jumping around, looking for flies
Tons of frogs hopping on lily pads.
On Thursday, I touched a old wooden statue
The statue was in the shape of a old man carving wood
You can see every detail of the man and his bright blue eyes.
On Friday, I smell freshly cut green grass
Down the rec on the football fields
Or at purple park surrounded by grass.
On Saturday, I hear children playing football
Parents shouting or cheering when they score
And kids getting all muddy from falling over.
On Sunday, I dream of waking up at the bowling alley (Mr G’s)
Bowling with my friends, ordering coke and dinner
That would be the best day ever.
