The life of a Catamander!

The Catamander is a beautiful creature that lives in the Forests of North America and in the Isle of the lost. You may be living near a family of this species and not even know because of their extraordinary camouflage.

The Catamander is a very vibrant orange ,however, it has several stripes on back that are paler.  The eyes are very eye-catching because they change colour. Many people think this is because they are magical but scientists have proven that the real explanation is because of the

 type/strength of the light.

The Catamander is very shy and timid so they are rarely seen*. They live in forests in North America because they do not like to be seen.

The main issue for Catamanders is that people take them from the wild* and keep them at home. However, they are taken good care of.
