Ice…Ice…BOY!

My hair was covered in frost. My lips and fingers were blue all over. I pull my beanie over my head further. I see everyone with scarfs, hats and coats rushing about in the centre of New York. I rush home in a hurry, thinking that I might get frostbite any second now. I open the door and turn on the heater. I run upstairs and some toast buttered slightly with a cup of hot chocolate lay on my bedside table. Hello! My name is Paisley! I wrap up in a warm blanket and grab my notebook. Time to plan another days work… BANG! I run to my window. ‘Let me in!’ A boy with a dark, brown fringe starts climbing a pipe that is right next to my room. His emerald green eyes shout for help as he slips down a few centimetres. The icy walls and metal make it harder. I open the window in a hurry and reach out my hand. He grabs hold of it but his cold, wet hands are not good at gripping. I hold his arm but slowly, it starts to slip… He is going to fall… Why does my room have to be four stories high?
