The camomander chapter 3
Several days later, we are back to where we first met, we are in my little room. We sit, slowly sipping tea, green tea to be specific. Outside, it is just typical rain. Inside, it is warm and cozy like always. “We need to go and look around where it is staying!” Lisa whines, “You have to help me.”
Lisa spent hours in the rain and cold, waiting outside the nearby hill searching around. She said that she saw the same as footprints in the arcade. But this is near the only place that is out of bounds.
I lock the museum and close the doors before we leave. This time I make sure I have a lantern, a few matches and a blanket. The rain dances and leaps, it was the only thing that seemed happy but we can’t see far through it. We follow the path until we get to the hill. No one is allowed any further but that just seems to cheer her on. I can’t leave her but she is jut the most persuasive and nosy person yet I still find my feet following. Slowly we creep forward.
I couldn’t believe my eyes, the footprints looked fresh as well. They were leading uphill. Clicking on my torch we started to walk. On top of the hill their was an opening, they went in.
The cave is as dark as the night sky. Just as I was thinking this was a dead end I saw the nest. It has a large, round egg inside. The egg was rainbow and glowing with a camomander stood behind it. “Run!” I cried.
