Sharkamander continued…

Chapter3

One day later, and we are still here cramped between the two wooden walls. We sit in complete darkness and silence, chomping on our cereal bars, which are my all time favourite.Taking tiny sips of my cold hot chocolate whilst sobbing our eyes out in horror. Outside, we smell an atrocious, grim smell almost like a deceased body that hasn’t ever been buried or touched before. Inside, we are roasting like a marshmallow in front of a fire, yet we can constantly hear terrifying noises in the abandoned building. However, the girl ( Eliza ) has different plans. “ Milo, I am being serious, you have to help me, you wont regret it!” “ Oh no not this again, I don’t know how to help you, you should know this by now!” I think “ Look, I know where it lives.”

It appears that Eliza has spent many days in a secret, locked up room and she had finally sawed he way out of this petrifying room. She tells me so many horrifying experiences she has had in the past but this has been the worst one yet. She claims to have seen many suspicious creatures such as; black camouflaging fish, bright yellow whales and tiny walking gnomes.

We stroll down the daunting hallway as quiet as a mouse hoping to God that we dont die or we get caught. The noises keep getting lower and lower as we approach the front door. Now we twist the rusty door handle as we open the door and it made a horrendous, ear-splitting noise. As quick as a flash we dash out of the door ( lock it ) and run! Cautiously, we make our way through the foggy forest.

I had not believed Eliza about all the gibberish she had said, but it turns out she was right. We have arrive at the cave and then I can see something! “ Look, follow them footsteps! “ “ Ok fine!”

The cave is pitch black and whenever you speak it just echos, which makes it extremely dangerous and scary, “ Milo look, quick!” “ What is it?” The sharkamander egg…

In that moment, I felt a stab of a sin. I know we shouldn’t have gone. “ Come on, lets go,” I howl, pulling back on Eliza’s hood begging for her to go back and pretend this never happened. As we now spin back round and start making our way down through the tunnel. I walked with releaf. The mysterious, clammy, pitch black tunnels that lead us to… well no were. But our way is blocked. We see and enormous, glow in the dark pocking through an extremely, claustrophobic tunnel. We both turn our torches forward, wich were nealy out of power, there it is. The sharkamander! Eliza steps forward I step back…
