Chapter 4
Despite my brains fright, my feet will not move. So I say there looking in terror at the monster in front of me. There are sun rays bouncing of the eggs’ shells, remembering why I’m here. I must defend these magnificent eggs’. they let of a luminescent effect and glow green in the night .I slowly step back from the teeth framed jaw. Winnie says in a soothing voice, ” don’t get scared” I can see that she is trying to stay calm but her voice is getting ripped by fright​ then she puts her hands up the crocamander understood what she was saying.
Then the crocamander closed it’s jaw and was opening it’s button eyes. I thought I was moving but I was so scared that I could not move then Winnie was dragging me out.

Outside the sun was covering the saturated sand. Inside I here the crocamander wrap around the eggs’ to keep them warm and safe.
The mist has been swept away the star studded sky was bright, the crystal waves gingerly cruising my boot. The progression was slow getting back to the café because the saturated sand was swallowing our shoes. We were thinking on how to keep this discovery hidden Winnie said” we could say the walls are decaying and it would be danger’s because it could cave in.

The sky was brightening up; the town too, comes alive again with people setting stalls up. Isaac’s Ice Cream Parlor is opening up. He is serving up fresh gelato ice cream to all of his costumers. ​Sam’s Super Splash water park was reopening from all of the greave of the weather. ​Sam says “You are up early are you excited” We nod at each other. knowingly.

Finally, we make it to the café I put the key in and twisting the ornate lock open. It was empty and silent but soon it was going to be manic. Then Winnie says,” We need to do something about this have some knowledge about the myth you know so we can protect it”. I nod in acceptances of the idea.

Winnie walks over to the back of the counter and she sees a luminescent glow just like the one on the egg. Then she runs over to little library in the corner and pulls out a fishermen’s log from 1872. It said a vessel went out and caught a slime covered egg which glowed. When they woke up the said to be stone was cracked open and a monster crawled around the boat. It was only when they got of they found the monster. It said the egg gave you the abilities to bring back a lost memory. Every fisherman and sworn to kill every mander they see.

That evening, we talk then we realize it is only the end of the beginning.
