Misfortune
My misfortune is made from-
The persistent screams and cries of the lost souls,
My mind evocative,
Not allowing me to obliterate the thoughts,
They were seeking their long awaited vengeance,
I began hearing their deterrent screams while walking down the unilluminated, silent alleyways.
I found it-
Trapped inside a child’s body, craving to come out,
Wandering across a gloomy, dim, isolated road,
A homeless man, quivering in a silent corner, howling for help- for a home.
This misfortune can-
Shatter a lifelong friendship,
Prise open a heart made of gold,
It could command even the most vigorous minds,
It could mend the most broken souls,
It can make a pond shimmer with glee,
A diamond breaks with sorrow.
You see, if i lost this misfortune-
Even the scavengers would grin with glee.
