My hatred
My hatred is made from –
Betraying friends and their hard cold souls,
Rain on a hot day,
A stubbed toe,
The hard bite on your tongue as painful as pins and needles,
And shredded tears rolling down faces.
I found it –
Caged in the silent whispers spreading from ear to ear,
Trapped in the dark edge of a bin like crumpled up paper,
Curled in the gloominess on the mans face,
Crouched in the edge of a cobweb covered box,
Crumpled in the girl’s pocket.
My hatred can –
Turn smiles into frowns,
Change the personality of a person,
Split the ground in half,
Make terrible tears shed,
Traumatize a baby for life,
Crack the code on a safe.
If I lost this hatred –
Then the flabbergasted frowns would turn upside down.
