Dear Mum,
Hi i’m Lily and l am in Chipping in a little house with Miss Joe, Mr Joe and Max who is my friend from school. I don’t go to school because there is no school here because it got destroyed from the bombing. We have a little farm and I feed the chicks and the horses and I have 10 minutes to write a letter every day. I am happy and l live in 68 Avenue Lane, NE8 3SQ so you can come and visit me because it is not far away from home. Please can you come and visit me? I miss you a lot. Did Dad come back home from war? Is he still alive? If he is alive, can you say hi to him and to my brother Raven. I am healthy and safe and I have been loved and I love you. I will be back soon. My new mom is kind and my new dad is kind and my sister Lola is nice and cute. My cat is called Simba and my dog is called Sophie. Now I have to say bye but I will be back tomorrow. I love you and I miss you. Say hi to dad and Raven. I love you lots.
