Dear Mum,

Thanks for the warm blanket, it kept me very snug all the way there.What felt like a century later, we finally arrived at our destination.  This is my first time traveling to a different country but the view in Wales is amazing.  We all stood outside waiting to be picked,as quick as a flash I felt a warm stroke on my hand, my heart warmed up as I felt the calm feeling of my future guardian for the first ever time. 

She lives in a really big house.   It was bigger than two of our houses put together.  Once we arrived she pulled out a bucket to wash my feet in.  Then, she gave me a nice hot chocolate with 3 marshmallows and we sat on the couch listening to the radio together.    Then it was tea time she asked me what I wanted to eat but I said I will eat whatever she will eat. 

The house was really posh and the outside was not burned by bombs like our narly house did.  I was so big and I had to pick my own room.  My room was very big and I got a king sized bed.  I have never slept in a more comfier bed before.

 I couldn’t believe that I got tea in my bed.  It was so fun that I got to eat while watching theTV.  The food was so scrumptious we had rice,chicken and potatoes.She had a dog and I got to  feed the dog.  It was very fun and since I have a dog I know how to teach it tricks. 

The town is so beautiful and has an amazing view of the sea.  We get to go surfing like dad used to.  The streets have not got any tree branches falling and we get to go in the forest every night to look for wild animals and insects. 

Miss Hall put me in a school where I made lots of friends and I love my teachers.Today I was not feeling so good so I skipped it so I did paper work.  We are starting to know each other more and more.I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that sis came to the same school as me. We gave each other a big hug and now we talk everyday.

 I hope you and Waffles are okay.I wish I could come and see you again.Its been a while since I have seen you.We have had a lot of fun together and I love my new carer.I love you.
