The marsh unicorn

The marsh unicorn also known as the swamp unicorn, which is a common marshland creature is usually found poking its head out of swampy water around the swamps of the Congo and the amazon. But recently Civilians have found major problems in sewage systems because of millions dead marsh unicorns! why is this happening? probably because the marsh unicorn likes boggy places so naturally, sewage pipes are the boggiest it gets. They get in from old sewage pipes that connect to large city pipelines.

When they get in, they mistake the waste for their food which is minnows and mosquitofish which then gives them serious illnesses and they end up dying in the sewage pipes eventually blocking up the entire sewage system causing absolute chaos. Because of this the marsh unicorn’s population has dropped from millions to hundreds. Sadly, the marsh unicorn is also a huge help to are ecosystem, they keep the swamp fish population at bay and are food for crocodiles and other swamp predators

Can you spot a marsh unicorn? There are a few defining features that make the marsh unicorn different to the bog unicorn like its algae covered horn, its vine-covered mane and its most defining feature is its webbed frog feet. Even though you normally see a marsh unicorn in the water they also can go on land if they wish. This is because they are actually amphibians! when they go on land, they venture into mangrove trees and their vine-covered main hangs down over them making them almost imposable to spot.
