  Breaking news

We interrupt this program for a serious reason; a woolly mammoth was spotted in Scotland destroying a forest, it was sighted by Mr. Anderson. “Hello Mr. Anderson, can you tell us exactly what happened today? Well, I was Hiking in the Forest and there it was, the big, humongous, giant woolly mammoth, rapidly destroying a tree. I thought it was the end of me.”  This was some shocking information. “I witnessed a very hairy woolly mammoth with long curly tusks as well as long hair dangling from the top of its head.” continued Mr Anderson. This seemed terrifying, would you survive this.

“Back to you in the studio Mike.” Thank you, Scotty, come back at 9.00pm to discover about the dark history of the British Isles. “Thats all from us, bye for now!”

Breaking News! -Return of Megalodon?

BREAKING NEWS! -Return of Megalodon?

Earlier today a group of citizens were out walking beside the beach, when they saw a glimpse of a huge mouth rising out of the water. They spoke of teeth as big as a human hand, and a jaw as wide as an elephant. The group fled the beach and immediately called the police, they described it as the shark from the movie jaws.

A couple were sitting on the pier while the group were there. They proclaimed that they did not encounter this beast or see his jaws. Instead, they only saw a lost blue float that was drifting silently along the shore.

A member of the group has come to give further information about the sighting of the possible Megalodon, here is a young female: Daisy-

“Well, me and my group were out walking along the beach when we saw a massive thing poppin its head out the water, it looked like a giant shark, well at least it didn’t eat us, Haha.” Ha well thank you for that.

Now we have a man who was sitting with his wife looking down at the sea. Carl, what is your POV?

“Now then, my wife and I were sitting at the edge of the pier, when we saw a small blue shark floatie. There was a group of people walking along the beach. They just screamed and ran off; it was bizarre, and creepy. But overall, Megalodon does not exist it went extinct years ago, goodbye.”

That is it from our eyewitnesses, please stay clear.

Devil Dragon INFESTAITION!

DRAGON INFESTAITION!

Hello and welcome to BBC Carno news at 6, BREACKING NEWS! People have sighted the world’s rarest animal ever: The Devil Dragon. These devilish animals have been seen in places such as Carno, Clatter, Caersws, Penstrowed and Newtown. The pesky creatures have been roaming around vandalizing woods, houses and shops. They are also very small to disguise themselves.

We will now go to our infestation correspondent Miss Flavia King with our very own eyewitness.

“Thank you. Right now I am here with Miss Katy Fabré. So, Miss Fabre what did you see here and why do you think they’re here?”

“Well I was looking out of my window about 25 minutes ago when I saw these little things painting on my garden wall with these miniature spray cans! I couldn’t believe it; I thought the gnome vandalizing had gone a few years ago. But when I looked closer I saw that they weren’t gnomes they were devil dragons. Then I saw some of my friends they were running straight at me screaming they said that they had also seen the little devils in their back garden and now their fence is a dark red color with pictures of mini water dragons on them.”

“Well thank you very much Miss Fabré for that detailed description of what happened. But that’s all we’ve got time for here, back to you in the studio. Over to you.

“So, what will happen over the next few weeks of this vandalizing infestation, stay tuned for more.

Breaking news-No horsing around

  BREAKING NEWS! -No horsing around!

This is the 6 o’clock news.

The main headline today is that giant horses were spotted trotting around Buckingham Palace, and her majesty the Queen is terrified. Police jumped out of helicopters onto the horses’ backs trying desperately to control them and ride them away from the palace, but failed, and the horses threw them into the river Thames. Residents have described them as ‘Overgrown foals’ because of their unruly behavior. Police have warned people to stay inside their homes in case the horses decide to go exploring, and World Horse Welfare have been trying to capture them and transport them to the countryside but have failed miserably.

Here we have our reporter, Bob. “Bob, can you tell us about these naughty horses?” ‘Well, yes, I can, they are absolute monsters. One even bit the prime minister on the bottom! Talk about bad behavior!’  Can you tell us how big the smallest horse is? Well, I’d say about 30 feet tall and 20 feet wide. Ah, here we have an eyewitness! Here Mr. Ummmmmm’ ‘Mr. Gotobed.’ ‘Ah, Mr. Rowtobread.’ ‘No, it’s Mr. Gotobed.’ ‘Yes, that’s what I said Mr. Rowtobread.’ Sigh. ‘Close enough,’ said Mr. Gotobed. ‘Right’ started Bob. ‘What bad experiences have you had with the horses?’ ‘Well, one pooed on my head, one kicked my house down, one stole my biscuits from the biscuit tin, and one ate my child.’ ‘That’s quite an experience,’ said Bob. ‘Sorry Mr. Rowtobread, that’s all we have time for today, back to the studio!’ Thank you, Bob.

One horse has gone missing but has been spotted having a stroll down Downing Street. If you see a giant horse, contact the police at once.

That’s all we have time for today. Come back tomorrow to get information about the covid situation.

Bye from the BBC news!

Flying toilet rolls

BREAKING NEWS! TOILET ROLLS SPOTTED FLYING AROUND CAERSWS!

We are interrupting this programme to tell you that yesterday we received thousands of reports from citizens in Caersws, Wales. Village folk have reported seeing toilet rolls flying around the village.

Some residents have claimed to have seen toilet rolls spouting from the river that Loch Ness is rumoured to be sighted. According to reports this is Loch Ness’ revenge on pollution.

Now, over to Reporter Williams in Caersws.

“Hello. I’m with eye- witness Elizabeth Le Maître. I’m on the bank of the river where people have said Loch Ness is. Now, Elizabeth, tell me. What did you see yesterday?”

“Well, I was on a walk by river Hafren when my attention was drawn to a spouting near the middle of the river. And then what happened was that a dozen or so toilet rolls bounced on my head!”

“Interesting. How did that make you feel? What did you do next?”

“At first, I felt rather annoyed that dirty, sodden toilet rolls had been spouted on my head but then what I had seen sunk in. I had seen Loch Ness, THE Loch Ness! Then, I rushed to the local chippies and burst in, quite dramatically.”

“And you are still of firm belief that you saw Loch Ness?”

“Definitely. I mean, other people have seen the same thing. So, that proves it doesn’t it?”

“Did anyone else see this?”

“No, no one else was there as it was near lunchtime.”

“Thank you. Goodbye. Back to you, Rebecca.”

“Thank you, Williams. Anyone who has also seen this will please tell the police. For now, though, it’s time for the weather report. So, it’s goodbye from me. Have a nice day.”

Chapter 4 the risk they were willing to take

Chapter 4– The risk they were willing to take.

As they were walking down the tunnel John Pie suddenly needed the toilet. It was risky to ask such an emotionless beast like the Scorpant if he could use the toilet so he tried to forget about it. The Scorpant sounded like it was enhanced, the way his legs lifted, and if you listen closely, you could hear its mechanical legs moving and all the gears grinding.

When they got to the once cheery food hall, they were stopped. This was the end of the line. This was the end. There wasn’t much hope. John knew from the start he’d have to use it. It would be extremely dangerous though as it had only been used once before 3,937 years ago. They called it the last samurai. John knew that it was his only hope and he needed somewhere quiet to summon it.

He still needed the toilet. He proceeded to shout out the Scorpants real name Adamantium Isnad. It rushed over as if he were going to kill him at the spot. He stopped just as he was about to stab him. He asked what he wanted, John said “I simply need the toilet” the infected badgers accepted and took him, once they got there the infected waited outside, Joh’s plan was running smoothly. He went inside and sat on the floor legs crossed and chanted the summoning words “allistic broached infected avian Summon!!” instantly a massive bang went off and the last samurai had been awakened. In an instant he had burst in and obliterated everything in sight. When the dust settled the samurai had taken the Scorpant. The badgers were freed from their hypnotism. Unfortunately Mia had been attacked during the battle between the Scorpant and the samurai. She’d made it so far but lost at the end. As they counted heads once again “75,76,77,78.” They were back up to 78 badgers. They celebrated all night and then John’s son Alfred asked where his brother Maverick was. John replied “he has given his life for yours.” Alfred was the only family John had left and he prayed from that day on, that Alfred would never discover what he had done to the innocent badgers during his hypnotism.

Chapter 4

“No, son!” a deep voice bellowed through the island. Don’t do it, He jumped over to his son. In his mind, he didn’t think he deserved to be in this world after all he had done. He had just killed his sister. Whistler was guilt ridden. His Dad clenched on to Whistler, the emotion like chemistry between them.  “Let me go!” Whistler was crying so powerless; he was normally so energetic. His Dad pulled him away and threw him onto the floor. “We are the only thing that can stop the Golems!” He exclaimed powerfully.  “We can stop them, we can save the island.”

“You can do that I just want to jump in and end my life now!” Emotion flooded Whistler’s body; he couldn’t control his tears. Suddenly he saw a glimpse of ice on the other side. The tears stopped; instinct kicked in. They ran as fast as they could up the island. Followed by the Golems they ran into the cave, they were trying their best to lose the gigantic ice golem. “Come back!” shouted the Golem. After long last they came out of the tunnel to the beauty of the Courageous Crumbled Castle. It was a ruin of one of the greatest castles to grace the earth. Maybe they could lose them in the middle of the castle they though. Suddenly they heard a roar it was more like a grumble that shook the island. It was a dragon, and it was gigantic like a dinosaur but with wings. They stood there in awe; it was so big, at least five hundred times the size of a chipmunk. “How are we supposed to get past this?” Whistler asked.

“Just run as fast as you can and be as strong as you. Promise me if I die don’t, blame yourself.” The adrenaline was rushing through their bodies. They did not really care what happened next, they knew the Golems would kill them.  On they went, they dare not to look around they just had to run. Their life depended on this moment, they had nothing more to lose. The Golems were so confused just watching them galloping on,  parading through the castle, they were the opposite of the bull in the China shop, he was a raging bull that had not been fed in months. The dragon glared at the father and son for a few seconds. The dragon roared loudly, swung his tale and devoured the Golems in one gulp. Whistler sighed a big sigh of relief. “Yes, we are free!” Screamed Whistler. The dragon turned round and started to fly over to the Whistler and his dad, not taking his eyes off them the whole time. Whistler looked at his dad, he knew what was going to happen. Whistler’s dad bravely took out the sword. Whistler stood behind his dad. There was a dragon of a beast coming straight into his face. “Bye Dad.” He said full of emotion. “Why are you saying that? We still have one last opponent to battle.” He said with chuckle, throwing him a sword. “Now get by my side and fight this beast.”

At first, he was nervous just holding his sword by his side, but then he decided to try to be like his dad. Brave.  Like father like son, the saying echoing in Whistler’s mind. He ran up to the dragon, every stride as poignant as the one before. Bravely, placing his sword right into the heart of the dragon. “AAgghh!” groaned the dragon. “Son, well done, all those lessons paid off I see.” His dad full of pride.

“Now let’s find a place to sleep.” The next morning, he woke up with aches all over his body from all the work, but he was proud of what he had accomplished. They now had the long journey of beginning their new life just the two of them.

Chapter 4 -Fight

Chapter 4 -Fight

Hopkin turned around and out of the corner of his eyes, saw an odd thing. It was a mirror, it looked ancient, with gold patterns on the rim of the mirror. The Stag turned around and hissed to the mirror ‘Tell me your secrets, tell me, how do I get the stone of life?’ To Hopkins’ amazement, the mirror replied, ‘I will never tell you my secrets!’ The Stag shouted ‘You fool! You blithering idiot!’ The words echoed around the cave. He grabbed a stone from the cave floor and threw it with all his strength at the mirror, the stone bounced off the mirror. There was no damage on it. The Stag grabbed Hopkin and dragged him in front of the mirror. Pola managed to scratch through the magical dome and started to swim away. The dome repaired itself before any water could gush in. The horror mermaids started to chase her, but The Stag said in mermaid language [mermish] ‘Leave her alone, we do not need her. I only need the boy.’ The Stag carried on. ‘Now, tell me, how do you get the stone of life?’ Hopkin stared into the mirror. It seemed normal, but then Hopkin’s reflection pulled a blood red stone out of his pocket, showed it to Hopkin, then the reflection put it back in his pocket. Just then, the real Hopkin felt something heavy fall into his pocket. He put his hand into it and felt a jagged stone. It was the stone of life.

Just then, the dome exploded and in came Pola and the ghost of their father, armed with weapons. The ghost pulled out two silver swords out of thin air and gave them to Hopkin and Pola. Then, he pulled out another silver sword out of thin air and started to fight. Wisps of fire and smoke flew everywhere. The horror mermaids tried to fight, but they hadn’t any weapons to fight with. The ghost of their father magically summoned a big, multi layered iron wall around The Stag. Their father handed them a teleporter and told them ‘Get to rickety bridge, your cousins and Uncles and Aunts are there. After you cross the bridge, I will break the bridge so no one can get in without killing themselves. Your cousins, Aunts and Uncles will transport you to a safe place, where there is strong magic that prevents The Stag from entering.’ ‘Go my darlings. Oh, I nearly forgot, there is a surprise waiting on beautiful beach, so go there instead of going to the bridge directly. Then go to vacant village. You will have to do some work there.’ He kissed them on the forehead and then pressed a small red button. Pola and Hopkin felt like they were being squeezed, everything was a whirl of color. Hopkin felt very dizzy and passed out. Pola was starting to lose consciousness as well. Then, as suddenly as it had started, the squeezing stopped. Pola saw Hopkin lying unconscious on the floor. She limped over to him and put her hand to his chest. There was no pulse…

She started doing rapid CPR on him, but It was no use. He was already dead. She felt her eyes beginning to close. Then everything went black. She was unconscious again. She spent the next few days drifting in and out of consciousness.

One day she sat up and she was very weak. She thought she saw her mother bent over Hopkin, giving him some water. They were alive! Happiness flowed into her body. But then she fell into a deep sleep. She woke up and sat up. Her mother poured some water into her mouth and gave her some soup. The soup was warm and filled her with hope. For a few days, her mother nursed her back to health. Then one day she could stand up, walk and run. She ran to her mother and hugged her, and Hopkin joined in. Tears of happiness streamed down their faces with the joy of being together again. Then they had breakfast together, and Pola could see where they were. They were on a beautiful beach, with golden sands and blue rippling waters. She realized they were still wearing their swimsuits from Lucky Lake. She so dearly wanted to jump in and swim to her heart’s content, but then she remembered Lucky Lake. How beautiful it was, but it was all a trick. But just as if her mother had read her mind she said ‘Don’t worry, it’s not like Lucky Lake, it’s completely safe. You and Hopkin can go and swim if you like.’ Pola completely trusted her mother and told Hopkin ‘Come on, let’s go!’ They jumped in. The stone of life fell out of Hopkin’s pocket. It slowly sunk down to the sea floor, and it landed on a rock where it smashed into smithereens.

When they had had enough swimming, they went back to their mother where she was packing up ready to go to the vacant village. Vacant village was an abandoned village protected by the mountains of Scotland. They pressed the red button together. But none of them became unconscious as they knew what to expect.

They arrived in a vacant village. But someone had made a mistake. It was not abandoned at all. It was full of goblins and their horses. There were goblins of all sizes, shapes and colors, and it was the same with the horses. There were black horses, white horses, brown horses, golden brown horses. The place was full of horses, ponies, mules, and donkeys braying, neighing, snorting and nickering. It was not abandoned at all. It was quite a lively place. Mother told the mayor of the goblins ‘We come in peace’ The goblins nodded but wheezed ‘We shall want something in exchange for giving you a place in our houses.’  Mother asked, ‘How about 5 days of food, housekeeping, cleaning and looking after 5 of your horses?’ Pola had the job of looking after the horses and did the cleaning and housekeeping. Mother did the cooking and Hopkin exercised the horses and helped Pola with the housekeeping. The days passed very quickly. After the five days had passed the goblins rewarded them by letting them choose and take one of their horses, as the teleporter broke. Pola chose a pure black horse; Hopkin chose a white stallion and mother chose a golden palomino.

They started the long journey, they walked up and cantered down the Mega Mountains, galloped across plains and trotted happily through rivers and streams. They eventually reached rickety bridge. They dismounted and led the horse’s steadily over the bridge. They met their cousins, uncles and aunts. They went happily to the safe island and lived a very peaceful life, free of Stags.

Chapter 4 -Escaping Terrors

Chapter 3 Death awaits

As Hopkin and Pola were splashing in the dark blue waters, they had not seen The Stag watching from the shore. The Stag’s red eyes were flashing, he was hungry. He shook his horns angrily and walked off. He was watching, waiting for the perfect moment to strike…

As Hopkin was swimming in the lake [ Pola was in the kayak], something or someone grabbed Hopkins’ ankle. It was pulling him down. He tried screaming out for help, but Pola was too far away to hear him. He was going under, and fast. Pola said ‘’ This place is just lovely, isn’t it Hopkin?’’ No answer. ’Hopkin, Hopkin, answer me, where are you Hopkin? Oh, please Hopkin stop, you are scaring me!’ At that moment she saw something extremely fast swimming under the kayak. A hand suddenly grabbed her arm.

She was in the cold of the lake before she could open her mouth to scream. All you could see on the lake now was an empty kayak and a few ripples on the water. It was very spooky. Under the water Hopkin could see what was grabbing him. It was the hand of … a mermaid. But not the kind of mermaids that little girls love, it was the kind of mermaid that sends several chills down your spine. It was covered in horrible colored scales; they were so horrible that you cannot describe them. Its face was like something out of a horror movie. Its hair was not the beautiful flowing silky hair of normal mermaids. It looked like slimy, rotten weeds. The mermaid was pulling Hopkin and Pola down, down to an underwater cave. But now they were inside the cave the mermaids were pulling them up. Pola and Hopkin could see The Stag from under the water. There was a kind of magic around The Stag, so the water couldn’t get to him. The mermaids pushed the little wallabies into the dome around The Stag.

The Stag said ‘’Now what do we have here? Two little wallabies? What are you doing here’’ He hissed. Hopkin tried to break free of The Stag. ‘’Going somewhere? Going nowhere, I think. Would you like to join me for supper? It is roasted wallabies. Delicious. Now, what are we going to do with you?’ As The Stag went on, Hopkin closed his eyes, ready to die…
