Mj saw an emerald green collar on the alligator’s neck, it said Rex. As he saw her she started to come closer. She started to snap her pearly knife sharp teeth at him. Mary looked back and saw Mj, “hello.” she said. Mj came closer to Rex. Mj said “Hi.” Rex snapped his jaw shut! 

Then Mary explained “I found him in a little river struggling and hungry so I brought him here and healed him. Since that very day, I’ve been keeping him here. Please don’t tell anybody they will take him away if they find him!”        

MJ dreamed of Rex’s Ocean deep electric blue eyes piercing through the dark deep big forest…and something about Rex Just felt like it smashed Mj’s heart into little tiny pieces 

because he felt so bad for him… 

At supper Mj would sneak some food in his pocket while Mary was not looking.

Then at  night give it to Rex.He would usually go to the river nearby and eat  fish,birds and turtles. He was anxious at times but when he was Mj would sit next to him and put his hand on him and sing a soothing song.

Then one night Rex let Mj pet his long nose. They started to bond with each other and they never left each other’s side.They were like best friends as the days turn into weeks and the weeks turn into months Mj never left his side no matter what.
