Poria stared at Sam growling at him. Poria was gonna attack Sam but Poria tripped  and Sam was about to back up but he couldn’t. It was dark and he couldn’t see anything in the woods. Sam petted Poria and then Poria became his friend.

The giant wolf befriended Sam and stomped away. Whilst they walked home, Miss Cook explained “I found him a few years ago. I took him home from the circus, they were not treating him very nicely” Sam listened carefully to what Miss Cook had to say. 

That night Sam dreamed of Poria. Sam woke up after seeing Poria’s eyes glow in the deep dark forest in his dream. When Sam was with Poria Sam was happy. His heart was melting. At dinner Sam snuck some food into his pocket and later at night he snuck out of bed and went to poria he gave him the food that he took from the dining table. 

That night Poria let Sam ride on him as they played around. They became good friends. Poria sometimes slowly crept up behind Sam and took the mat out of his pockets. Sam had changed, he no longer stomped to school he ran.
