The Storms!

When the Storm comes

Chapter 1

Aisla Ash didn’t want to leave home. She stared out the window and day-dreamed for about two minutes. She missed the bustling city and the noisy roads, all the tall buildings and the time that went by. The first day of her new school felt long and tiring, she hadn’t even made any new friends yet and most of the pupils there didn’t seem to like her either, it wasn’t like home, it was very different from home.

She stayed in a small cottage with a lady called Miss Hall (who secretly hates children but loves animals), she seemed nice but something was off about her

The Return Of The Storm…

Chapter 2

Aisla stared into its eyes. They were a sky blue and seemed to freeze her brain. She could see its teeth were like a pirate’s sword, as it yawned. Its whiskers were as tough as wire, its fur was like dots of  colour that painted Aisla’s mind with loneliness and love, she realised that, after a while, she didn’t want to be with Miss Hall anymore, but she wanted to be with the amur leopard in the wild where she can be free. The amur leopard stood up and walked around Aisla and licked her face with her soft, blood-hot tongue. She sniffed her hand and curled on her lap, it started to purr silently… Suddenly her ears pricked up and her head turned towards the door, she could hear footsteps coming towards her room. The amur leopard turned its head and started to move towards it.Panic flooded her brain, she knew that they were being watched, when suddenly Miss Hall

entered the room with a grin on her face. ”I thought I would find you here….. I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” It was Miss Hall, she looked like she was about to say something but didn’t say it. “Ummmm well I was well I just wanted to… like, well I just wanted to see the amur leopard and somehow found her in the basement, sorry if I worried you, I-I didn’t mean to……..Sorry.” Aisla felt bad and thought that she would be locked in her room but all Miss Hall said was, “It’s fine dear,” then “Why don’t you give it a name so that we know its now yours!” Aisla exploded with joy, “Oh my gosh, really, ok why don’t we call it…. Bailey, Bailey Ash!” Miss Hall was sure that the news she was going to break to Aisla was going to break her heart but she had to do it soon.
