Chapter 1 

 The three young rabbits called Popkin, Pans and Pook are getting dragged into the bedroom by Vickey, their mum, because of the fight down stairs because of the Gorm.

 Vickey gives Popkin a dagger raped up in cloths and a letter is in side of it from there mother. Popkin finds a tunnel in and Pans and Pook go to look. Popkin goes to mother and says there is a tunnel in the bathroom. The mother said it is just an exit just in case. Mother said to Popkin open those pieces of cloth I gave you because there is a dagger . Vickey said it does not cut iron so don’t fight the Gorm with the dagger mum said get into the tunnel now . 

The three rabbits go into the tunnel Popkin and Pans are fighting to see who goes in front after the fighting Popkin goes in front and Pans goes in the back of them all.As they are strolling through the tunnel Pook is petrified because it is dark and mother and father are not there . Pook is trying to get forty of them. They all are fighting because Pook and Pans would like to go to the warren and Popkin does ot want to because they will die because the Gorm could get them.

 They get deeper into the tunnel. Pook is getting scared because there are not any lights. There are a lot of snakes if they go deeper into the tunnel.

As they are deeper Pans goes in front because she can read maps.
