Chapter 1

The Gorm

The gorm was attacking their father. Aunt Raskin grabbed Rodkin Raz and Rook and dragged them out the room and into the bedroom. Rodkin wasn’t happy “Are father is being attacked, do something!” Aunt Raskin ignored him looking through the drawers and under the bed for something. They were all confused because Aunt Raskin was rushing around looking for something. Eventually, Aunt Raskin pulled out a big shiny pointy sword from the wardrobe. They could hear the sound of swords slashing and painful screams coming from downstairs. Aunt Raskin carefully placed the sword in Rodkins hand. He was confused, they were all confused not understanding anything that was going on. Aunt Raskin led them to a tunnel it was a tunnel that they had never seen before. Aunt Raskin told them to go through quickly before the Gorm comes.

Aunt Raskin shoved them into the tunnel but Rodkin and Raz hopped out the tunnel, Rook didn’t understand what was going on so he started crying and huddling in the corner. All of a sudden they could hear the terrifying sound of the gorm stomping up the stairs. They all went silent. Rook started crying again while Rodkin tried to persuade Aunt Raskin to stay in the house. Rook wanted his dad but he had already been attacked by the gorm.”Quick in the tunnel!” yelled Aunt Raskin as she shoved them in and locked the door. Rodkin was the leader, Raz was the smart one and Rook was the younger brother that needed looking after.Rook was still crying and Rodkin was still holding the sword that Aunt Raskin gave him. They heard Aunt Raskin scream from outside the tunnel and didn’t know what had happened to her. While they were scavenging around the tunnel they found a letter. Rodkin couldn’t read it. It was a message from their mother. Then they went to sleep Rodkin was in front Raz was behind him and Rook was in between them.

Chapter 2

Going to spiky mountains

Bang! They all woke up.The sound of iron hitting the walls of the tunnel woke them up.Raz grabbed Rook and Rodkin led them out the tunnel.They started their journey. They began to get hungry and looked for berries but there weren’t any, not even bushes. When they looked behind them they saw a plate of iron.When they came to the end of stump forest there was a river.The temperature was freezing luckily they found a boat.

The small useless boat couldn’t fit all the rabbits in. What were they going,to do if they swam,Rook would drown Raz and Rodkin would die of hypothermia. Rodkin told them that they would have to walk.So Rodkin started walking with Rook behind him and Raz behind Rook.

Then they found a map on the floor next to a few mountains. The small rabbits realised that they were at spiky mountains.Crossing past many mountains and walking into spiderwebs.Something was giving off light but they just couldn’t tell what it was. Rodkin continued to lead the way and Rook kept falling.

Eventually, Rodkin could see where the light was coming from; it was a little house.Paz was still far behind trying to catch Rook every time he fell.An old lady opened the door as they walked past and offered them to come in.

The rabbits knew it would be a warm place to sleep in and nice food.The children rushed in.Outside it was cold with no food, Inside it was warm with food cooking.They could hear iron bashing together and saw footprints that weren’t theirs.

Chapter 3

The Gorm Escape.

All of a sudden, Raz noticed giant footprints and iron plates.She knew the Gorm was coming. Raz tried to communicate with Rodkin so they could escape.They both looked for an exit while Rook was running everywhere.

Minutes later, Rodkin found an exit.Raz grabbed Rook and they sprinted to the gate.As they were sliding under the gate the old lady tried to but couldn’t stop them escaping.The children where horrified of what they would do.

Raz and Rodkin knew the Gorms were following them.As the Gorm caught up behind them they sprinted as fast as they could.Suddenly the Gorm leader was speeding up and the rabbits ran.Raz and Rodkin were trying to escape the Gorm but Rook weight a lot and was to slow to run himself.

Iron plates were falling behind the Gorm.The gorm chased them past spiky mountains past the river and into stump forest.Chasing the rabbits he ran into many spider webs and tripped over rocks but still caught up.

The Gorm caught up and grabbed the 3 rabbits.The Gorm  covered in iron armour took them to a small dark room where he trapped them and left them. What would he do to the rabbits?The rabbits were scared if they would ever get out alive.

Chapter 4

The escape plan.

The prison like room was an ugly dark grey colour with dirt on the floor and piled in the corners.Every time they spoke they would get smacked in the head shovel. They couldn’t sleep because they would have to sleep on the concrete floor which was to uncomfy. There weren’t any windows because it was underground.Whenever Rook started to cry he would be smacked in the head with a shovel.

“What do we do now?” Rodkin questioned while being hit with a shovel. Raz scooted closer to Rodkin and tried to whisper back but failed because the guard heard her. The guard must have been good at hearing the quietest sounds because no matter how quiet they were he still heard them.It was like a guard house in there.

A few minutes later, the guard fell asleep. Raz shew Rodkin a key she had found in a pile of dirt earlier.”Where did you find that?” Cheered Rodkin, Raz pointed to the pile of dirt. Raz and Rodkin turned around to see Rook talking to 2 other rabbits through the bars.Raz was about to grab Rook when the other rabbits said “I’m here to help you! Just hand me the key.”

Raz didn’t think she had another choice so she handed the key to one of the rabbits and they unlocked the door.Raz, Rodkin and Rook followed the rabbits where tigers,lions,bears and hippos waiting.When they got up there was another guard. So they decided to fight. The tiger got him onto the floor and the hippo jumped on him. After they knocked him out,they huddled up the tunnel and got back home.

The rabbits realised their mum was alive but Aunt Raskin died with their father.When the rabbits went up the stairs they were surprised that the gorm leader didn’t follow them home.Then they saw an iron plate peeking from under the bed. Rodkin grabbed the sword Aunt Raskin gave him…
