Chapter 1: The “curious thing”

Now, meet conker and Chester, nobody really knows who or what they are so they are normally called the “ little creatures”.  They are small, the size of mice, with little horns and fluffy ears. They have a wolf like body with a sharp tail. Two curious beasts with determined dreams to follow. They lived in a small cave with one tiny campfire.

They hid in it for storms continued on and on outside there minuscule home. They didn’t know really what to do at all, dangerous beasts lurked out there and they would be trod on instantly. But, one grey day it changed.

The youngest, Chester, crept out of the small cave they had lived in for so long. The world was a big place with tons of millions of dangers but Chester was brave.

The next morning, when conker awoke he was shocked to see that Chester did not lie next to him. He darted around the small cave, shouting Chester’s name. There was only one place that he hadn’t gone, outside. Conker rushed outside, running as fast as he could, determined to find his brother. But then, there he was sitting on a branch, watching the sunrise.

Conker noticed that the world wasn’t so dangerous, but Chester was sitting next to something, something confusing.
