Chapter 2- Wizard Tower
An hour before leaving, Sammy, who was a crow, soared through the sky to deliver something important for the rabbits. Quickly, Pickle grabbed Pepper’s warm scarf that she had left and scurried along to hand it to her. Finally, they left the Wizard Tower. Tiptoeing, they snuck out from the derelict den and left the damp, gloomy place. With a careful check of the map, they made up their mind and hopped their way to Swan Lake since it was only three miles away. As Pickle was stamping his feet on the muddy path, Piper slowly looked around where she was, in the distance, she could see fog drifting towards her. Within seconds, their visibility was poor and they could hardly see anything.
At last, the band of rabbits reached the end of the path, which was leading the way to Swan Lake. The three trembling rabbits were very tired and exhausted, so they decided to sit down for a minute to catch their breath. A few moments later, they got up and dragged their paws on the dirty, dusty ground. Soon enough, they were at an abandoned cliff.
The mist was coating the sun, Pepper was struggling to find the way to Swan Lake, which was crowded by a variety of rugged, cracked stones. There was a mushroom house where the swans lived. Suddenly, Piper screamed out.
“What’s wrong Piper?” mumbled Pepper.
“Look, there in the distance, isn’t that Dr.Zap’s hideout…?” replied Piper.
Shocked, Pickle wrapped his paws around Pepper and dragged her away from the cliff to a thankful sight.
Before the breeze could freeze them to death they hopped their way into a dark, derelict cave. The terrified rabbits all pushed the large boulders out of the way, so they could tip-paw through the entrance. As soon as they were inside, the boulders blocked up the exit, which was their only way out of the damp cave. Their eyes could hardly see anything to where they were going. Luckily, Pickle brang a torch with him just in case they get into a situation like this.
