Jimmy opens the hut door, the light switches off, and something with yellow eyes pops out. A panther comes up and lets him stroke his back. He has  soft fur like a winter blanket and scars around him.The frosty wind opens and blows a freezing wind. The door shuts and Jimmy’s eyes lighten in surprised.The panther’s aerodynamic dive is faster than an oxygen release.The 4 legged creature pounced upwards onto Jimmy.The scars bled like fire in hell, drenching his eyes in blood.

The panther hunts its prey at night. He bites into a dear like a lion biting into juicy red blood. He hides himself in the light as many people walk by. Some open the door and don’t see the panther.The panther stares into its prey’s  eyes ready to be eaten.

Mr Ayan said in a whisper “he likes you.” In a flash, the panther disappears into the great unknown.Mr Ayan stares in shock as his best friend left.They walked through the village and sat inside in disappointment.Th darkness illuminates the path.Jimmy though that he could sense someone watching, then as quick as a flash he stared out in the unknown thinking he saw a black fur creature with yellow eyes disappearing into the darkness.   

“He’ll watch us and protect us”Mr Ayan proclaimed.”I found him 3 years back in the woods.He was like 5 months then, with no hydration.  Someone had let him loose and he ran off. I thought to my self that they tortured him and did not feed him. In the war I brung him in and fed him lots of water and food. I took him in undoubtedly. He grew so  fast and his strength came in a glance. He was brand new then.It’s our secret don’t tell anyone.We would not know what they might do if they heard. They might even kill it.

The next few nights, Jimmy went and visited the panther and watched the panther walking round the forest with yellow fiery eyes. When the panther slept round his feet he became warm and spoke to the soul. Jimmy was regularly bringing ****************** for the panther to eat and a gallon of water for him.He learned from school how to set traps.He would catch mice in the forest that the panther would eat quickly.He would disappear into the darkness growling in the night with a full stomach. He was hesitant at times, but Jimmy always stayed calm and collected.One night The panther let Jimmy have a ride on his back because Jimmy was slowly becoming like his best friend. The panther would sit up straight when he senses Jimmy arriving because he knew it was time to eat and time to play. After school, Jimmy would race to the den to see the panther and Mr Ayan noticed his new routine.Over time their bond was so strong, nothing could keep him away from the panther. Mr Ayan quickly became fond of their new bond but made it clear that Jimmy didn’t dare tell anyone…
