The next day it started snowing hard, snow covered the roof, snow covered the walls, the snow slightly  shivered as it slowly ran down the walls. It was like there was going to be a snow storm. Kenzie-lee tried to figure out what he could do to save Lily and stop Josh from telling the whole world. Miss Hill (the career of Josh) was at the window tuting as she was washing the pots from dinner. Then she was listening to the radio about the snow and that there might be a snow storm. It was called The Snowstorm. He was too scared to ask her if she had seen Josh. What if she shouted at him? What if he passed it on to her? He was petrified. He wondered if Josh had just gone away to get out of the situation and forget all about nearly being hit by a tiger. 

Kenzie-Lee couldn’t wait any longer, he knocked on the window. “Don’t come in here  with ya shoes on, I’ve just cleaned up,” said Miss Hill “Anyways what you doin ere?” 

“Sorry to disturb you but have you seen Josh  around by any chance,”  asked Kenzie-Lee. 

“No sorry, I thought he was with you so I didn’t worry because he knows what time to be in, it’s the same every night,” she replied as she washed her gloves. 

“It’s  just I thought he was in his room,” uttered Kenzie-lee. 

“Ohh I forgot about his room, I’ll go check for ya,” observed Miss Hill. 

“Thanks ,” stated Kenzie-lee. 

“Nope, not  in there,” remarked Miss Hill. 

He had no idea where he could be. He started going around the village asking people. “Hi sorry to stop ya but have you seen a wee

small boy around  here?  high, quite small, blonde hair, blue eyes.” asked Kenzie-lee. 

“Nope sorry mate,” he replied. 

“Aiight then,” added Kenzie-Lee. Maybe he had disappeared to tell everyone or he might have left the village to go and not get in trouble. But why would he leave? He LOVES animals. Everytime he comes around, he always has a small baby rabbit or a mole tucked under his t-shirt. Always has. 

Miss Hill sent me a letter saying Josh was sent to France to fight in the war. He ended up getting shot by the other team. He knew he could never tell anyone about Lily. He was glad and sad at the same time because Josh was still his best friend.Now he  didn’t have any friends but luckily the war was nearly over and he could go home back to his mum and brother. Then the snow started to fall 

 As the snow fell, Lilly fell deep into the slumbers .
