Go and open the frost door,

maybe there is a row of frozen houses,

Icicles hanging from trees 

or a secret frost city standing still like a statue.

Go and open the sugar cookie door,

as sweet as chocolate melted and stuffed with marshmallows,

as warm as a fresh cookie pie

or bubbly custard on a hot cake.

Go and open the cherry door, 

maybe there is a thick cherry and apple  pie filled with cream,

or a glass of wine.

Go and open the raven door, 

maybe there is death lurking nearby,

or a crow spying like a secret agent.
