The Mysterious Emporium
Prologue
There are some places where no one ever entered, that is exactly what the mysterious emporium was like. People would walk by and gaze in to the window but no one ever enter.
Although, there was a big bowl of delicious sweets siting on the counter and toys in the window watching people passing by.
Even though, you could smell freshly baked cakes and newly made toys and glimmering treasure. Even though you could hear old clocks ticking and toys chatting away, no one ever entered the mysterious emporium, The inside was always dark as night and the door was locked, no one that was until Rosie…
Chapter 1
One glorious afternoon Roise was wondering down Foster Cresent when she noticed something unusual about the Emporium. There was finally new stuff in stock!
Rosie couldn’t believe her eyes on the ceiling was a chandelier of candles shimmering in the sun light, on the counter was some yummy cakes and sugary shortbread, on the floor was an old rough rug, to one side there was shiny eye-catching treasure and rusty bird cages, in the corner there was book shelfs full of books, bye the door there was old dusty clocks ticking away.
But what interested Rosie most of all was not just any book it was a magical book. As she turned the pages of the ripped book she started to notice her hands getting greasy.
“I see you have found my book of magic hissed a voice”
Rosie slammed the book shut and stared up at the owner,
“oh I am so sorry it just caught my eye”.
He was an old man with a wrinkly face and had bright blue eyes.
