Chapter 4

The Return

Tommy saw the shadow approaching him like a cheetah! Desperately, he took a leap of faith.When he landed, he fell unconscious for a few seconds.Luckily, he fell into fresh water which saved his life.On a patch of dirt, the chrome door stood like a soldier in war. As soon as he swam to the door ,Tommy saw a bit of broken birch wood dug into the gravel under the water. Swiftly, he began to swim towards it until two dangerous piranha approached him. The bloodthirsty piranha did not think of him as a threat and slowly swam away. Tommy swam deeper and deeper to the item.Hoping it wasn’t heavy, he pulled it out to reveal a piece of log.”This will be perfect!” yelled Tommy. Unfortunately, it took longer to swim to the dirt patch. Cautiously, he began breaking down the door. He started to realise that huge waves were coming towards him. Tommy wacked it harder and harder each time. As soon as he broke the door down, he was washed through.

He was unconscious on the ground. He was wet and soggy. The Emporium owner saw him lying on the ground and decided to wake him up. Tommy woke up and started to smile. The owner walked him to the door. He said before Tommy left” You can not change the past.”explained the owner.” You should never run away from your fears” the owner put into words.

As Tommy was leaving,he did not see the raised bored infront of the of the door and tripped through. Tommy, who felt very embarrassed, stood up. All of a sudden, he heard this magical sound, which flashed through the air! Instantly, he span around and saw the Ancient Emporium in a snow globe, which was glistening beautifully in the sunset. Tommy picked up the now tiny, Ancient Emporium and began to journey back to the orphanage. He did not let anyone know of his little secret…
