Treasures
If I were summoned,
to create a treasure,
I would take:
The silent sound of busy working wings of a bee,
the rapidly snapping claws of a crab,
the sound of birds tweeting in the morning.
The first ever raindrop from the rainforest,
The sight of seeing your first icicle,
A single grain of sand from one of great yarmouth’s beaches.
The first sight of a never ending sinkhole of death,
Hail falling from the sky like pebbles of ice,
And a pinch of mud from a landslide.
The bone from a long extinct bird like creature,
and a single column from the circular Colosseum,
The crown from Egyptian King Tutankhamun.
A scrap of the first ship to land on mars,
a star from the first constellation,
and a pinch of stardust from the milky way.
Three of everything in the bears house ruined,
the bleat of goats wanting to cross a bridge,
and the howl of a wolf chasing the girl in red.
