Golden Eagle

Wind-swept, eyes gazing

The golden eagle flies.

Elegant wings flap

Letting shades of black through.

Beak craven yellow, pointed and

Mouth as razor-sharp like

Meat slaughtering talons

Incapitating prey.

The brown wings curve like a coins edge.

Feathers wrinkled, wind ruffling wings behind.

Legs shriveled, skimming against

the crystal clear lake shining.

The speckled eagle flies, eyes shining

Claws razor-sharp. Happiness dripping threw,

Eagle lands, last breath heart fails

He lies wind swept heart stops life gone.
