The Scottish Wildcat

The highland protector

Wildcat scouts.

Whiskers waiting patiently

To brush the life away from its prey.

Night-stalker

Shadow-maniac

Fangs like a rapier

Ready for violence.

Fur to protect

A hiss to project.

Home-defender

Shadow-user

Eyes like cameras

Claws ready to strike.

Ears twitching and turning

To the sound of churning.

Woodland’s-guardian

The infamous rock climber

Scouting for its prey.

The bird catcher

The rodent snatcher.
