The summer of trouble

                     The Summer Of Trouble

It was a sunny July morning

the sun was gleaming and the

grass was sleeping. Casting

spikey shadows on the trees.

Grace Lumber ignored the lovely

weather. Staring ahead at the

checkpoint like it was the gate to hell.

she tugged her sleeves up to her elbow

and walked towards it.

Grace could see the raging  guard

with what looked like spoiled green

eyes of the new poison ivy growing in her

big brothers yard.

“Next” cried the guard

So violently. Grace handed over her

Pass. Where you going young girl.

He snapped at Grace.

I’m delivering some flowers to my auntie,

Grace replied shyly, wondering what to say

next. The guard let her pass with a nod.

The next minute she found herself walking

through the street where all the rich lived.

She loved her farm but she always

wondered what it would be like to be rich

but she had the be quick it was warm and her flesh was

starting to peal.

Grace decided to take a short cut

through whimpers ally and then she herd it

the growling voice of a robber who said “give me

that parcel you rat” he said.

Grace looked around trying to find

A exit but there was none until she found a box so

she jumped in and somehow ended up in a secret room

And in that room was a cupboard she opened it up and she was in.
