X felt miserable. He was staring at the gateway between half of the ruined country of Scotland and the taken over part of Scotland now known as New England. He pulled down his cap and shivered as he walked by the ruins of the Hydro.
He could see the guard letting other guards who were scouting for survivors back Into New England checking there passes and capturing people trying to sneak through.
“Stop right there!” Roared the guard, pulling the barrier down. He gave him his fake pass that said he was the son of someone called lord Johnson and the guard put it into the machine.
“Why were you in Scotland Sir?” He politely asked, standing more upright.
” I was told by my dad that there was a rare type of metal that you could only find in Scotland and that I needed to get it,” X replied, trying to put on the best English accent he could. The guard nodded and opened the barrier to let him through,
A few hours later, X reached Edinburgh. Here there were building that weren’t ruined and didn’t have spray paint all over them and there were people with hoverboards and fancy clothes. X wished he had been born In England at the end of the war rather than Scotland.
Sneaking through ferry road, X tried to make people not notice him but it was quite hard due to his ruined clothes.
He turned around and saw a man ,darting towards him, holding a knife in one hand and a gun in his pocket.
“Come here boy!” He spat, getting closer to X “You better give me all your money or your dead!” he roared, pinning him against a wall. X kicked him in the stomach and ran as he doubled over but he ran straight into a dead end!
The man shouted “No where to run now child!” X was about to get killed. He knew he shouldn’t have come here, but just as the man approached he saw a door and a few seconds later he was inside. ered every single bit of the ruined streets of Glasgow.
