Chapter 3
Cameron woke with a gasp; the jaguar slept on. From outside, he could hear voices. Peering through a chipped piece in the wall he saw the Robots. Cameron woke the Jaguar. She layed in the corner curled up in a ball of darkness. He indicated to be quiet with his finger.
Tiptoeing across the dusty floor trying to hide. The pair found a couple of crates, the jaguar went behind one and Cameron behind the other. Cameron pulled an old blanket over the top of them so no one could possibly see them.
At that moment, footsteps could be heard entering the
harbour. Cameron glanced over his shoulder and saw robots entering, torch lights flickered; voices echoed. They could wait this out.
It seemed like years, but in reality it was at least 25 minutes. It was night time, the stars and moon lit up the streets, but as the Robots had left the Jaguar and Cameron had slipped out the back and were off.
Cameron looked at the wound on her neck it looked sore and was still bleeding, she looked weaker. Cameron wondered if she could carry on with the dangers that laid ahead?
Cameron had a thought but not his thought the Jaguar was speaking to him through her mind to his he thought the portal was at the Beach the sand junes. They set off avoiding all the checkpoints and Robot meet ups, although his Mum and Dad would be worried, he still went on. Even though it was hella dangerous.
